Pollution comes in many different forms. One way that we can all help is by eliminating pollution that comes from our own back yard. This pollution comes from numerous small spills and is called nonpoint source pollution. Spilled materials that are washed down the drain with a hose or by rainwater ultimately become pollutants in our groundwater, rivers, lakes & oceans.
The amount of nonpoint source pollution can be difficult to determine because it does not come from a big, measurable source like an oil spill. Examples of common types of nonpoint source pollution are excess fertilizer, motor oil and insecticides.

Caps Can Do® Helps Eliminate Pollution in Two Ways
Recycle plastic caps and prevent pollution with Caps Can Do®
First, by recycling plastic caps it helps to eliminate countless plastic that could otherwise be littered in the environment or sit eternally in a landfill.
Second, Caps Can Do® takes the plastic that would otherwise be considered waste (a process that we like to call “waste as raw material” or W.A.R.M. Manufacturing) and turns it into useful products that aid in the prevention of nonpoint source pollution.
Eliminating Pollution to Prevent Pollution: that’s what we call a win-win!
